The star lit night

The star lit night

Too many dreams,

Afloat in the air

Like the milkweed follicle

Some lodged in the branches and thorns

Some drenched in the falling rain

And lay aground

Some lay beneath the sands and stones

Some, like ripples, blown in the air

Up and down

Carried away by the balmy and gentle breeze

And tossed hard by the tempestuous winds

Roaming in the company of oneself

Flew far away into the oblivious sky

Starring like a star that lit the moonless night

Like- a dream, for a dream

To be a dream so splendid

It stood inimitable amongst all the odds...
