Addiction

In a world full of dependencies
When I think about addiction
I discover an opiate, silent obsession
And I wonder 
If there is any other addiction
Superior to love
I would rather prefer it
Because love is an addiction
That either breaks you free
Or keeps you with strings attached
The Strings of addiction
Of memories
But...
The addiction that sets you free
Is the real addiction
Which lets you live life
Detoxing the addiction
The tormentor of your dreams
