Lost Identity
I am no longer, who I used to be once,
Experiences called for a change,
The bad came like storms,
Giving lethal blows at times,
Swirling for sometime..
When struggling to be stable,
Grief gushed like an avalanche,
Burying me in the abyss of loneliness..
At times, the good drizzled upon,
And happiness came peeping like virgin rays,
Zesting with hope and a new life.
Occasionally came an awful visitor,
For reasons unknown,
Like a tremor it shook,
Pricking the pain buried deep within,
Rattled once again by a dilemma,
Whether to love yourself or not,
Dizzied by life's vicissitudes,
And bewildered by complexities,
Failing to recognize myself,
Swaying in the midst of nowhere,
Struck by a lost identity,
Which was once the real me..
