  Reality check When you just spread wings To fly in your imagination The reality steps in And you land crashing down onto the ground Seeing yourself in the mirror Numb, as it crumbles down Into pieces Staring at the empty wall Watching it in pieces Sublime conversations Turned the tables And acquaintances Tuned back the tables The same pattern Repeats Why spread the wings When there is no air to fly Why dream high When imagination falls dry Why keep expecting When there is no scope for a thing Stay grounded Let the earth accompany you Through all your footsteps
